I suspect it's nonsense. Tipping point is a fallacy based on computer models but doesn't seem to be of much use in the real world when it comes to making predictions with any accuracy, or even figuring out why something in the past occured. It's simply an arbitrary peak point that is selected.

To be honest I find it hard to care as I'll probably be dead by then or maybe it's because I'm old enough to remember that we should already be freezing to death because of a new Ice Age by now.

These guys aren't really all that different from JW preachers who always claim the end of the world is coming on this or that date. And when it passes without incident they simply come up with another date.

Ok, then forget about tipping points and predictions, and let's talk just about BALANCE. Do you think the current population growth, the whole system, etc. can be like this for much time?

By the way, now that you mention an ice age, they also mention "climate changes".

The climate is NOT the biggest threat to farmers and farming. Liberals are...at least here in California. The crazy environmentalists make it impossible for them to operate.

If the legislators get their wish, California will only produce 10% of the strawberries they do now. Putting hardworking small strawberry farmers out of business.

Certainly, the climate is not the only factor to consider, here, but anyway, why do you say that on liberals (I have no idea)?
