"For real dog" Used mainly to stress they are telling the truth as they mostly assume anyone from their community is full of shit. The dog part refers to the person they are conversing with. This stems from the fact that people used to call them dogs and they have the tendency to adapt negative nicknames from not completely understanding them thinking it's a term used to praise them. |

To truly understand, one needs a voice recorder to edit out the overly used phrase. But then what's left? I'm up in da crib..YKWIS....smoked me sum weed...YKWIS....bitch ain't got no grub....YKWIS....Kill me a buzz...YKWIS....pimp me a ride....YKWIS....get me a forty....YKWIS....chill out with the homies....YKWIS....etc., etc. etc. Not much going on in the head of an urbanite. Where's Barbara Billingsly when you need her? (Old people might get that). |
