Yes, food stamps aren't to feed the poor, they are to pay the giant food corporations.

Too bad the lifeblood and reasonable happiness of this country has been eroded and sabotaged for the last 40 years most obviously 10. Too bad elections narrow between dangerous psycho #1 or dangerous psycho #2. 90 percent of our factories were shut down. Factory work used to provide a liveable wage for all those without college educations. With most of our factories gone and hope of good employment gone, the Government compensated with foodstamps. Its a way of saying, sorry we shipped out your jobs. We will still keep you alive though..
