Performer Wrecklessly Used Powers Of Darkness - Ends With Students Stuck In Hypnotised Stupor
"Girls at a private school in Canada were locked into a trance for several hours after a trainee hypnotherapist could not snap them out of it.

Maxime Nadeau, 20, hypnotised a group of 12 to 13-year-old students at College du Sacre-Coeur in Sherbooke, Quebec, for an end of year show last week.

But five students – most of whom were merely watching in the audience – got more than they bargained for when they remained in 'mass hypnosis' and could not be roused."

Harry Potter would be exploiting a wizard that could wield such powers...yet...there is no accountability or responsibility for what may happen! This will become more and more common. I remember in the 80's this was happening a lot. People "stuck" in curses or hypnosis. Lots of claims of rape and such during those moments.

Hypnosis has a long history of danger. From causing lasting delusions to major depression to people actually dying while hypnotized...this taping into dark powers is very real and very dangerous.

Idgits, your statement "Hypnosis has a long history of danger. From causing lasting delusions to major depression to people actually dying while hypnotized...this taping into dark powers is very real and very dangerous." is bs. If you knew as much about hypnosis as you want others to believe you do, you'd have to study hypnosis and follow the stories about it as I do, just as I found this thread on a website I'd never heard of before. You should follow up on the articles you linked to and see how they eventually turned out. The girls in the story in your original post were never in any "danger", on the contrary they were more than likely relaxed to such a degree that they didn't want to do anything. Hypnosis is real, but it is not a power of darkness. Almost anything can be used in many different ways, in some cultures people are robbed by people who "hypnotise" them, but that doesn't make hypnosis a dark power or art in any way. A knife can be used to pierce the heart or an artery and thereby cause death, or it can be used to remove a tumour, or as part of a process to repair damage a person has sustained. The knife isn't good or bad, though the person using it could have good or bad intentions. Hypnosis is a tool with many possible uses in the exploration of the human mind, which is something that we do not yet and may never fully understand. I find it ironic that you use the following as part of your sig... for calling hypnosis a dark art or power is most certainly as ignorant or "stupid" as you called the last person who called you on your bs.

~ The highest form of ignorance is when you reject something you don’t know anything about - Wayne Dyer ~

~ In a battle of wits, you are terribly unarmed - MeLady ~

Hypnotism is black magic, it's extremely dangerous.

Hypnotism is no more black magic than electricity is. Calling something magic usually means you don't have the intelligence to understand it.
