Thanks for the photos! I have a second home in East Lake that I'm worried about. If it keeps raining and flooding I'm sure I will hear from the renters soon! Please keep us posted on the storm.

Flooded in front of Tarpon Springs High School, at least half the town can't be navigated by car at the moment cause you odn't know when you reach a deep flood in the road and hard to judge etc..

Good pics OP! I can't wait to get the frick out of this state!! This is way too early for this tropical stuff to start. Usually heats up late August. Couple weeks ago we had a very strong thunderstorm and lightening struck power line behind our house. Well caused power surge and we lost our brand new microwave and stove. UGH! Thankfully nothing too bad this time around other than a ton of rain and a tornado or strong winds hit about 5 min away from here knocking over a tree.

I am hoping that my office closes so I don't have to make the 40 minute drive through the unknown. Sadly my company does not close for anything even if the road turns into a river, might need a canoe to make it.

Thanks dear! I understand about not leaving. You are a good daughter. I want to get away from my family hahahaha. Hope you commute isn't too bad. My husband works in downtown Tampa and not happy about him driving into that mess.

It looks like the storm is heading directly towards Panama City, which is where I live.

According the projected map, it could hang out for maybe 5 days OR MORE of solid rain and significant winds of maybe 50 to 60 mph!

Don't gotta ship the whole package, just an ample portion would suffice!!

Gotta say though sure looks nasty down there. Hope things get better for ya all. However the dry season is way to early and too many non stop rainless hot days. Our water supply will be in danger very soon.
