Help the Birds and Animals in this HEAT!!!! Bees and Butterflies too!

we all already live in artificial world full of garbage made by us - "HUMANS"

We are the ones who help to kill all of the nature and animals!

Most of the time "we" do this for fun or just because we are beasts?!

ditto!! Thanks bunches OP!! A LOT of issues going on in my life at the moment. For a while there when things were calmer I had a humming bird feeder always full as well as a large bird seed feeder. But lately with my life being pretty chaotic, I've neglected these feeders. I will get back on track thanks to your thread and even add a large container to my yard for water. Never even thought about this heat wave affecting the animals! *facepalm* Many a wild critter coming to my yard will be thanking you!! More karma points coming your way!!

Plant a vegetable or flower garden and keep it watered. Also a nice fountain decorates a yard well.

Amazon sells water treatment pellets that are harmless to animals but kills insect larvae.

i think we all have our burdens and trials right now, sometimes small acts can bring a lot of peace when we need it. :)

And it did:) Humming bird feeder is now full again, with a few hummers already appreciating your thread;) I also found a new use for a former kitty litter pan, that had barely been used as I had kept it outside on my back deck for my little dog that recently passed away. She only used it when the weather was too bad for her lil pampered butt to use the yard lol. We miss her terribly. She was a very good dog and died way too young. But anyways...I rinsed it out real good, as we'd just bought it for her and it'd been only used a couple of times. The litter was barely touched, and it doubles real well for a makeshift bird bath. I was out of bird seed, but I broke a couple of gram crackers up real small and placed them in the empty bird feeder. So far so good:) Thanks again for the reminder about the little things;)

I have a beautiful maple and a Japanese maple to use for all of the animals.

I have a bird feeder and the seeds in that have been going fast!

i want to hear from someone who did the banana butterfly thing. :) great ideas in here for helping.

I have errands to run tomorrow, so I'm going to go buy some bananas and try this.

the drought really is a big deal. it means much more than just high corn, soy, and wheat prices.

The birds and bees love my birdbath in the heat. I've been throwing out old bread for the squirrellys and chipmunks too.

Here's a video from today. The Squirrels getting chased by the Cranes. A Hummingbird flies around after 19 minutes. This was around 18:00 UT or 2 pm EDT.
