i live on a 60 acre lake here in ft laud and i put a bird feeder up and nothing touched it for a couple months and then this little black bird with red on his wings started coming and then all hell broke loose.
other birds started hanging out and then the muscovie ducks showed up and i had to take it down because they will shit all over the sidewalk and when they eat somewhere, they will never leave.

Edit to add. 5 stars and karma for you. I live in CT, my inground pool is 85 degrees and I have not used solar heaters. The pool is not refreshing, it's too warm... I have a pond out back that has fish and frogs, and some birds rest there. I make sure there is seed outside for the birds and try to keep fresh water outside for them too. Tomorrow it will be around 100. Thanks OP, good reminders.
