Yeah, birdbaths and similar vessels are prime habitat that mosquitoes need for breeding also, so you end up helping the poor little bloodsuckers too!

But they can also look at it as helping the nocturnal critters like Bats...........they LOVE mosquitoes.  hey i meant to ask, how are the skeeters faring in the heat? are there less because less water and everything parched, or are they worse because of stagnation?
