Holy Moley! I went past the grain elevator today where they have a sign out front with current prices of grains. Soy beans are over 15.00 a bushel!! Usually keep track of prices but was in a hurry and forgot to look, but that jumped out at me. Didn't see the end digits because the shock of seeing that, made me want to also see the corn and wheat prices.

I've NEVER seen soy at that price and thinking it must have been and I just don't remember, I googled. It's an all time high.

Some of you might say it doesn't matter, you don't eat soy anyway. Soy is used in many things.

It's used in tofu, oil, milk, baby formula, meat extenders, and animal food to name a few.

It's used in most factory farms to raise hogs, chickens, and turkeys. Even cows, though it isn't natural for them, are fed soy products.

The implications are far beyond the price of a bushel of soy.

Wheat and corn were both over 7.00 and pushing 8.00.

The implications of them rising are higher even than soy. Yeppers. If you feed an animal food containing soy, corn, or wheat, better hustle out and
get some. Going to go a whole lot higher.

the forecast was for corn to hit at least $7.00 by july 21, that was a conservative estimate but the word was buy now.

thanks a ton for stopping by and mentioning that!
