why do you think your intuition led you to hawaii, if it was not the right place for you?

did you learn anything, either practical know-how or maybe just life wisdom, that you didn't have before you bugged out? anything you can share with us?

DId it suck mostly because you had no social support net in hawaii except for this one other person? or because you found that you did not have the skills to manage life off the land? or some other reason?

does your son feel the same about the bugging out experience?

what were the tools or equipment you forgot to bring, but really wish you had with you?

how did you feed yourself? gardening? did you work to buy food? dumpster diving? some other way?

was it hard trying to farm in such a different climate and ecosystem from what you were used to?

no not at WOOFing camp. i went to kauia first, with my dreams. worked gardens there, swam, shelled.

yes i was treated very differently. it was NOT what i had expected, i lived on big island in 1993 and it was VERY different 20 years later.

yes most locals are methed out. i have heard and seen some bad shit down there. way before your 'zombie' invasion.

no i did not live in my van the whole time. i left my van to a hawaiian girl who i thought could use the money. was only on kauai 2 months, went to maui, left the van to her on kauai.

i lived in hawaii before. i had a golden light experience. i was introduced to my life path there. that was on big island, through yogananda parahamansa.

i have the skills to live off the land. but what was dearly required of me was not so much my street skills, which are strong, but my heart skills. i was screwed over by this woman, yes...we came on false presuppositions. but i immediately saw the flaw and made my checks and balances. i had incredible adventures with my son.

everything about this bug out was about my heart skills. nothing else.

yes i learned a great deal. bless it.

we fed off the land which was why i went. i have a very strong gardening call. it is what i do. let your food be your medicine and your medicine be your food. there were definitely differences in farming, which is why i went in the first place...to learn. one of the many, and ultimately the final, reasons. :)
