Ok, I will ask you a question(s) :-)

What were you least prepared for? What I mean is -- what did you think you had under control -- and then when reality hit you realized that you completely underestimated your need for (it)?

Since you lived out of a van for awhile (as you said) -- what were the practical things you never thought of needing, or that you needed and learned to live without -- and what did you miss most of all?

Did this experience make it easier for you to make this choice again in the future? Or will it cause you to think twice about bugging out next time? (kind of a boy who cried wolf syndrome?)

And finally -- did you forgive the person who conned you into going to Hawaii? If so, why? If not -- why not?
