No prouduce because of Rat worm? so what id you eat.

I know the food is expensive but is my understanding that locally grown produce is not expensive.

shelling is walking the shore and looking for shells. :) i have about 30 pounds of shells LOL!!! on kauia there are some very valuable ones. i have some of them. it was a great way to focus, connect with the sea and sun, and get strong. my son and i went to some amazing places, swam, snorkled, you name it. parts of the trip were incredible. i have many pictures of a very happy strong young boy. :)

you can legally camp on the beach for two months, free if you have hawaii ID which i did. you have to get your permits every week. be very nice to the rangers, they are good guys. :)

here's what you do: go to north shore. this is the most beautiful place in the islands. you can go to kalalau, which is the ULTIMATE bugout location. very intense, prepare for machine guns and choppers. stay well away during goat killing time. they drop in with machine guns and take down the goats twice a year. it's a long long hike. you leave from kahena beach, south of hanalei, and walk in on a gnarly trail. do not take trail if flash floods occur, it rains on the mountain but not on the beach.

there are also people living on beaches outside of princeville. princeville is the uber rich area...there is heavy duty military secret ops on kauai. just north is a beach where people live year round, sling hammocks from trees, etc. and chickens of course run the roost.

we ate smoked fish and salad, avocadoes, bananas, etc.

it's not all ice heads. but that is a big element.

also on kauai the local boys 'date' 7-10 year old girls. i shit you not. it's creepy as shit, but it's part of the 'local style,' keep it in the family, if ya know what i mean.
