Can someone help me locate info on America's empty reserve silos of grain? If this is true, and this drought is extended, we better take storing our own resources seriously right now.

In the the Old Testament, it didn't rain for seven years, and those who survived the drought had many years of stored food.

What is happening in Indiana is alarming, i.e. the worst drought in recorded history, most crops have failed, our reservoirs are draining quickly, and many Hoosiers with personal wells are running dry throughout the State.

If our silos with grain stores are empty, then shit is really hitting the fan!

Why did someone give me a one star?

This should be a concern to everybody.

Is there something that an individual state can do to fill those back up?

This should be a "wake up call" to everyone.

The midwest feeds the rest of the US, and most of our crops from this summer have withered, our reservoirs are drying up fast, and it doesn't look good for the very near future.

In Indiana, everyone is getting excited about the prospects of a half inch of rain this weekend. This wont do any good.

Prepare now!

I would like to add that each person could get a grain mill-table top variety and you can get "keeper" type boxes and store your own grain. You could get some from a local co-op and grain will store for 20 years, so you could have a personal store, if you are worried about it.

My husband was looking up grain mills last night and he found a deluxe model that had a really good review from a prepper website, but I don't know which website it was. Hubby's a closet prepper. It's kinda fun, but if we were really in an extreme event, I don't think we would be prepared.

I did a search for table top grain mill and found good resources.

I will venture over to the closest co-op and check out the grains. Plus look into storage and a table-top grain mill.
