Pick up a pair of Xray vision glasses a the Dollar General Store, put them on your face. They are the only thing that will protect your skin from the CME. LOL

Can someone please please list 3 events, major DOOM events that a CME has caused in the past, say 40 years...

give us something to compare too.

Otherwise all these CME iS COMING STUFF is like crying WOLF all the time and nothing happens.........

You feel the change. Everyone is expecting things we can visually see but I expect things like you are talking about. The Solar Rays are awakening our DNA to more truth. The BS and lies will soon be easy to see.

The CME may not cause major destruction doom, but the world wasn't nearly as integrated with technology back when the Carrington Event happened. The world is pretty much intertwined with technology very tightly these days.

I normally am hesitant to put total faith in numerous 'doom' theories,

However, reading the comments here...I shall go ahead and post what I do know. I am near Boulder, CO,

early this morning all power was out...in our neighborhood, and in other neighborhoods. Excel came out--then the Cell phone went dead--No Service Available. Then, hour later, cell phone back up, but Radio would not work.

by 11:30 power was back up--but I knew this wasn't an average power outage from car accident hitting a pole, which is what usually happens round here,

so I decided to look and see, Nothing of course in papers or news outlets [online] about the CME, except the theory predictions here and a few other places--

so then I decided to look up power outage maps, and loe and behold, uh, while yes power outages Do occur all the time,

these maps showed PATTERN, from MN to Wisconsin to Co to Utah, all this morning, power was out in various cities...all along a Line.

In Virginia there was power outages, in Kentucky, etc. I didn't go through every single power company Outage Map, because I do have a life, however, just from the brief research it was obvious, that yes, the Grid was effected. But just in certain areas and it appears that the areas/cities and rural all lie along certain Lines, routes.

I also found out that the college where someone I know works at, they had a utility shut down to transfer to another generator/transformer, both on 14 and another on the 31--it is a State college.

So they obviously know OR coincidence? I don't think so,

which is kind of odd. When I asked the person about the college they said that it was just for adding electricity to new buildings [what they were told] but kind of weird, on two days I see listed here on GLP, hmmmmm

the Radio came back on about 40 minutes after the power came back on--I tried three small radios, brand new Batteries too, nothing, not a thing. That, had to be the CME,

so report from Boulder says high elevations radio can be effected--obviously,

cell phone was out about 15 minutes/no service

power was out for about three hours, four in some areas.

So yes, the Grid is effected--Usually when power is out here it only takes them an hour to get back up, not today. And I have to say, it was very creepy, first the power [esp after reading about the CME/SOLAR FLARES last night] and then

the cell phone and then the radio--

yea, I mean...yea,

now imagine that for a wider area and for longer period?

This could simply be a Warning--for worse to come, that's how I see it. Like it's building up, SO

theories aside, I wouldn't scoff at this so soon, if I learned anything today,

it's getting prep ready, NOW. Am poor and don't have money or resources, I do know which plants to survive on, etc., how to find water--the old fashioned way,

but I can tell you, after today, I won't be ignoring Solar Flares, that's for sure.
