Executive Ocean County Assistant Prosecutor Michel Paulhus identified the man who died as Mark Tanouye, 52, whose last known address is in Beachwood. Around 10:50 p.m. Thursday, Beachwood Sgt. Bruce Harris was on patrol, in uniform, in a marked police vehicle when he saw Tanouye, outside the High Velocity bar, creating a disturbance, according to statement from the office of Ocean County Prosecutor Marlene Lynch Ford. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20073680 I'm no fan of my Local police, trust me and many of the police I know are real assholes. The guy who was shot has done this stuff in local clubs before and has a long criminal history including kidnapping at gunpoint. Harris maybe an asshole but he never struck me as a gun happy one. One note here, on many of the signs around the town (they have been replaced) was spray painted, Nazi, pigs, police state, fascists etc.... They aren't, what they are are greedy tax collectors pulling over people and making up shit to collect money. They have check points here too, right next to my house.
