Actually by founder Brother Russell in the 1900s they had the Illuminists beliefs. He was awesome, I researched the man and he was really onto the mysteries of the Great Pyramids and is even buried under a pyramid..

But after he died the Society took a downturn.. and lost all of its Illuminated ideals...

It became just another dry, mentally ill cult after he died.

I wouldn't trust any denomination, any large organization. The NT writers said that after they died, false teachers would arise from among us. History bears this out; the leaders began to crave authority and "lord over" people, even before Constantine. They made themselves gods and priests, usurping the place of Jesus as our Intermediary, and ignoring the fact that when He was on the cross the curtain in the temple separating the holiest place was ripped in half, which signifies our free access to God without priests.

Jesus said that the time had come to no longer worship in special places but "in spirit and truth"; no longer rituals and priests but "where two or three gather in My name". look,all you need is god,its just about you and him.just read your bible and take it to mean what it says to you.you dont need any interpretation,or study,or church,or paster or anyone or thing else.all things that are contary to it just being be
tween god and you,is a leading away.do not be influenced by other peoples doctrines,beliefs,denominations,opinions ect.make your relationship with him ,just between you and him.beware of outside influences on your relationship with him.

The holidays are pagan based so good for them for not practicing them. Especially halloween which is a satanic religious holiday. Christians who celebrate these holidays should be ashamed of themselves as Jesus would have nothing to do with them.
