what do you tink would be the factors, if not 'global warming?' if you read the articles the 'scientists' say that every 150 years this is 'normal,' but are shocked by THIS particular 97% event, as it is almost double expected average for the 150 year cycle.

The whole planet would be always covered in ice. But that isn't what happens, in 4 billion years, there has been about 1 billion years of ice ages, and 3 billion years of NO ICE on the surface of the planet.
