if we can learn to sleep consciously and develop a conscious witness and hold conscious awareness during strenuous rituals may be awareness can be retained in occasions where we normally loose it, and we may be better prepared for postmortem life.

does the afterlife involve more than just awareness?

one of the most extreme OOB experiences i had was during an athletic competition where i set a new female record on the course, my brain was nowhere to be found during this whole process. i have no memory of the event, all of a sudden i was just at the finish line, 'i' didn't even experience the race.

i have never tried to, but i think if i focused on it right after i heard it i probably could.
