me and my selfish heart. i'm learning to make more room. a feather can't be selfish. without a wing it will never take flight. there are treasure chests of feathers on the dark side of the moon. if a heart is vacant how can there also not be enough room? fear occupies negative space. and that's how hearts get black inertia.

you spend a lot of time listening to others. that doesn't seem very selfish. isn't it important to take care of yourself first, otherwise, if you aren't taking care of, how can you be in a position to help anyone else? for me, it's one of the reasons why i've selfishly had to step away from my work many times.
