The person with a chip on his/her shoulder perhaps could have spoken to him/her and found out what the issue was and how you could have helped. Create a foundation of good feelings and just take the impression you got from your visit with a memory. As the events you had are different from others, there are more than 7 billion people and counting along with many situations coming about in this world, i like to be thankful for anything and glad to wake up everyday. For any other day we go through good and bad, but we have personal power to push ourselves forward and help others if that is what you want to do and how you can improve yourself as well. |

I was somewhat on the fringes of these people. I was good friends and popular up through Sophomore year and then I was "cut". It was a little awkward meeting with them, but everything was mostly respectful and actually turned out ok. I reached out to those who might not be considered as popular. |

Sounds like you are a little bit sore about not being popular? I sucked it up and moved on. I still went and talked to these people and many others who were not popular. The losers are the ones who could not move on with their lives and let some excuse leave them helpless even when I tried to help them! In life there are winners and losers. Be a winner! |

I debating not going but I am glad I did. Not to reconnect with anyone, more to show me that It's time to move on. High school was fairly traumatic for me. I had only a few friends and wasn't very social. For 20 yrs it's an experience that has loomed over me. I'm happy to say after having gone to my reunion I have let all that shit go.
