Wasn't me, I drink mine right down to the very last drop and throw the grounds into my garden.  Seriously, though, I did read similar articles in the past about prescription drugs and polluted waters. I can't see this getting any better. Will today's younger generation be prepared for the hard times coming their way? you must have heard me sitting in the back yard wondering if you were gonna catch this one...;) here's the thing, it's not coffee being dumped, it's from coffee being peed into toilets and out to sea. Okay, you got me, can't say I don't use a toilet.   Guess I'm guilty, just like all my other fellow coffee drinkers. At least I don't take pharmaceutical drugs, just an occasional tylenol or two for my headaches. yah i am kinda having an iced coffee right now... i'm the kind of person who doesn't like to waste a grain of rice or a coffee bean...i think about how it grew, how it was harvested, what a tiny miracle all of it is. i actually worked a couple coffee farms on kona side of big island some 20 years ago, and let me tell ya, it is WORK!!! now i get to think about how it continues on beyond the bladder and into the waters. *having a macrocosm moment here, bear with me.*
