There is more to the LDS then you guys know. There are admirable qualities about him and the LDS. All "clergy" and all missionaries in the LDS are unpaid, as a matter of fact you have to pay your own way. So that part about service to the church is unremarkable. That is a part of their faith. If you go to a Mormon service you will members of the ward (congregation) giving the sermon. That's something else that's expected. The selection process is not what you would expect in the normal Protestant sort of way. The hierarchy of that "church' is ran from the top down from Salt Lake City, it's not a democracy folks.

I could go into more details, but suffice to say most Protestants and Catholics do not know what goes on in there.

Romney or his company Bain Capital (using what became known as the "Bain Way") would go on to perform the same kinds of business miracles again and again, with companies like Domino's, Sealy, Brookstone,Weather Channel, Burger King, Warner Music Group, Dollarama, Home Depot Supply, and many others.

Romney may not be the best representative the Republicans could have selected. At least I know what religion he is, and that he won't desecrate the flag, bow down to foreign powers, or squander my money on vacations. I know he has the ability to turn this financial debacle that the "Spending President" has gotten us into. We didn't know that when Obama said he'd give us change, he meant nickels and dimes, and he would get the big bucks. We won't like all the things necessary to recover from this debt, but someone with Romney's background can do it.
But, on the minus side, He never was a "Community Organizer", never took drugs or smoked pot. Never got drunk. Did not associate with communists or terrorists. Nor did he attend a church whose pastor called for God to damn the United States .

After reading up on Romney and talking to other business friends, I run a Software firm with my fiancee, he is the real deal.

He is extremely intelligent and hardworking.

Yes his father was Governor of Michigan and ran GM but unlike the other brats of executives at GM his father did not give Romney a car, he told him to work for it.

He is very humble when it comes to his achievements and gives the little guy great breaks.

I read an article about a guy who was owner financed by Romney when he had very bad credit and his wife lost her job. That is a guy I want running this country someone who cares about everyone, not just his pocket book.

Why do railroad workers get special perks from the Government anyway? That's fucked up.....fuck a bunch of railroad workers they should be on a 401K plan like everybody else.
