Well, I know the area has an underground aquifer because I have studied them here in Texas because we live on top of a huge one. The Edwards Underground Aquifer.

One thing that MANY people do not realize is that at the lower levels in the bottoms of fresh water aquifiers is a saline level, especially when these aquifiers and near an ocean or gulf.
Most aquifiers are made from porous stones like limestone and they have capillary abilities going right to the oceans brine!

Now here's what I am thinking.

Based on BP's genetically created monster called SYNTHIA who was designed to eat oil and procreate at great speeds.

I am just betting SYNTHIA found the aquifer capillaries and has gone in to the sinkhole (where oil products were found floting on the top). SYNTHIA won't stop. She will continue eating until it all falls in.

Eventually SYNTHIA will get starved enough to travel higher up to search for more oil/diesel/fats.
When she gets into local wells and water treatment plants and comes out of your faucets....Well, You did know the human brain is 90 something percent fat didn't you?

We will develop holes in our brain tissue just like Alzheimers or worse, SYNTHIA will eat our entire brain and all the bad fats and even the good organ cushioning fats and right out of your body.

Sounds like a great horror movie but I think it will be real, just kept underwraps as the big pharma will need to try to find a new wonderdrug.

Makes me wish I could investigate BP and their executives to any big pharma investments.

I think you might be on to something. This post really sparked some curiosity in me. Did quite a bit of research on that chemical dispersant they used in the oil spill.

Evidently it feeds on all hydrocarbon compounds IE: BUTANE or METHANE in addition to crude oil. The byproduct of this chemical (at least when it feeds on oil) is CO2 and methane. The current in the Gulf would carry the dispersant directly to southern LA. If the chemical did happen to travel to that area then it would break down the liquid butane into some sort of a gas compound (was unable to find the byproduct with butane) and that would explain the bubbles.

This is all just manic speculation, but if this were the case, then there are 1.5 MILLION barrels of liquid butane in the earth that would eventually be broken down into a gas and it would be nothing but a fucking crater.

i am just libile to go nut's all over if y'all start acting like children. this situation is very real and ever changing we down here on the coast are worried. there are so many wells and pipeline down here it could take the whole upper gulf coast down. i really don't like this site bewcause of all the stupid stuff but somtimes like now it is the only place to get informnation

What I worry about are chain reactions. The gulf is full of gases, refineries, oil, and if something blows, it could be nasty. This is all together already with the huge environmental damage from the BP oil spill.

That's what I'm talking about. Pure useless fear and speculation that serves no purpose ande doesn't mean shit! Just another fear monger. From Canada no less!

Another useless, no new information doom thread about some mud hole... I just can't believe that you guys have spent a week playing this doom game. It's like a fucking drug with you people...

Come on, at least wait until there is some news to talk about. Not just drama.
