Great post OP. I cant but wonder though; If this is the truth of our origins, then do our creators have a creator? Just a thought...

A good thought.

If they are real, and if they did in fact develop
life and/or humans on Earth, then who are they?
And who created them? This leads to an endless
hall of mirrors echoing the same impossible-to answer
question: Who are their creators???

This brings up what is known as First Cause,
the starting place for all of everything—of life
and existence itself. No human actually knows
anything about it, and we probably never will.
I don’t know, religion doesn’t, and scientists
certainly don’t. Yet those institutions are forced
by their intense rivalry for hearts and minds to
pretend that they actually do know the answer.
Don’t believe either side. Religion and science
stand eyeball-to-eyeball and are too frightened
to blink, much less acknowledge any doubts or
weaknesses in their propaganda. But, luckily, I
don’t have those restrictions. I can busy myself
trying to discover what is actually knowable.

Why do we need to have a starting place at all? We have this obsession with "start" and "end". Yet neither of them make any sense at all.

Maybe we should stop trying to answer these questions and start looking inward into our own thought processes.

Say to yourself loudly. "I do not know where I came from" and you know what?....."I'm really ok with that"

Maybe the answer lies in abandoning all of the ideas we've been taught in the past. Because I tell you what. No amount of science or religion is ever gonna answer my question of "How big is the Universe?, where does it end" and "Where do we come from?" I ask myself these questions almost daily. And I've yet to find the answers.

So what is the truth? That the universe actually DOES end somewhere and there is a void that spans to eternity beyond that?

Or is it that we have no flippin clue of how to even fathom the depth of this dimension and universe, as we are basically nothing more than animals trying to figure out where our next meal is gonna come from.(Albeit in a much more civilized form than in the past).

Bottom line is that Ops' idea has as good a ground as any, in my book, at explaining how these lives of ours have some kind of meaning.

Best theory I've heard in a long time.
