Great post, OP. What you've posted seems plausible me to be quite valid theories. One thing, though...I wish you'd said something about the human genome study...where they found we suddenly obtained all this extra genetic information about 250,000 years ago...in a side way shift. So, hey, well...all of a sudden, it's there. Well, how did THAT happen?
Any scientist worth his metal would not say any finding or theory is carved in stone. That's dogma, and science is not about dogma. And please..."We've read this all before" without any offer of evidence to the contrary is about as scientific as a church hymnal.

"prehumans" died off and slowly but surely

any kind of biological relationship between the
two species. This was a huge jolt to mainstream
anthropologists, who were certain that humans
had to evolve directly from the Neanderthals.
Reluctantly, anthropologists shifted humanity’s
closest predecessor to either H. Erectus or H.
Ergaster (leaning toward Ergaster), but they
clung to the belief that humans must still have
some kind of biological link to Neanderthals.

I agree with your conclusions [that humans are genetically engineered] and will give you a few hints, if you wish [speaking] as a “DNA Deep Throat.” First, look up the huge discontinuities between humans and the various apes for: (1) Whole mitochondrial DNA; (2) genes for the Rh Factor; (3) and human Y chromosomes, among others.
Regarding #3, I refer you to K.D. Smith’s 1987 study titled “Repeated DNA sequences of the human Y chromosome.” It says “Most human Y chromosome sequences thus far examined do not have homologues [same relative position or structure] on the Y chromosomes of other primates.” Human female X chromosomes do look somewhat apelike, but not the male’s Y.
