Great post, OP. What you've posted seems plausible me to be quite valid theories. One thing, though...I wish you'd said something about the human genome study...where they found we suddenly obtained all this extra genetic information about 250,000 years ago...in a side way shift. So, hey, well...all of a sudden, it's there. Well, how did THAT happen?
Any scientist worth his metal would not say any finding or theory is carved in stone. That's dogma, and science is not about dogma. And please..."We've read this all before" without any offer of evidence to the contrary is about as scientific as a church hymnal.

WATCH THIS GUY COMPLETELY SLAM GENETICS!!!! He is a real life hero to me. But yea Kii of Earth, for a species not even 300,000 years old, HOW THE HELL DO WE HAVE FOUR THOUSAND GENETIC DISORDERS!!! AND COUNTING!!!! How did we evolve from apes who have 48 chromosomes.. with only a handful of disorders. To a weak and rickety human with only 46!! and nearly 5000... makes no sense.
