Re: Calling all Iconoclasts... Enter. The Truth of Our Origins.
The supreme arrogance of religious thinking is that a
carbon-based bag of mostly water on a speck of ironsilicate
dust around a boring dwarf star in a minor
galaxy in an unfashionable suburb of (our) supercluster
would look up at the sky and declare: “It was all made
so that I could exist!”

Peter Walker

Yes, indeed, this incomprehensible universe, declares the glory of God.

And this blue marble called EARTH was the creator's masterpiece, His crown jewel.

Yes: "It was all made
so that I could exist!"

Re: Calling all Iconoclasts... Enter. The Truth of Our Origins.
Thank you for this enticing thread.
I guess the Nag Hammadi codeces are also relating to the Sumerian history since "The secret book of John/Apocryphon of John" for instance describes genetic manipulation as well.

[link to gnosis.org]

But that seems to be the simple part. Then apparently things get much more complicated for the genetically engineered human as he attempts to learn of his complete origin right from the start, much to the annoyance of his creator; that is according to these so called heretical texts that were deemed important enough 2000 years or so ago to bury them for a futur time, while the rest were destroyed. Apparently someone from "way" beyond took pity, and tried to rectify some error. So humans were given a gift, or perhsaps it´s more something on loan, a key if you will, that is highly prized and resides quietly within us....
they could write exciting books back then too...

I liked the Pye´s video enough to send to a geneticist here in Iceland for her contemplation. I look forward to her comments.

Thanks again. Regards.

Re: Calling all Iconoclasts... Enter. The Truth of Our Origins.
Ok ok ok I have a question. If we didn't come from molecules evolving and we came from aliens then WHO MADE the ALIENS?????? Ok now take this question and replace alien with the answer you gave to the last question. Repeat this with each answer you give. Somehow something must of happen to make the first life in the universe. Why not here on earth???
 Quoting: Rudysarsof

One way or another, in this physical reality at least, all matter is made up of the same molecules that burn at the heart of the very stars we look to for an answer to the questions "Who are we?", "Where did we come from?", "Why are we here?", "Is there anyone else out there?", "Is this all there is?"

There's a huge, monstrous clue in the irony of the star asking itself who it is and where it comes from :)

The only thing I can say to you young man is, memory retention is often mistaken for intelligence. Intelligence is the ability to use your knowledge/information in an abstract way. This may explain a few things about some of the people you know. I've been observing your previous post's. A word of advice, never be so rigid in your belief's that you won't change them when new correct information arrives. Pursuing and adjusting your beliefs to factual information is the only way you advance. Do not dismiss this.

Re: Calling all Iconoclasts... Enter. The Truth of Our Origins.
Interesting post and yes their is something wrong with all the theories on how we got here. But it will always go back to the old "chicken or the egg thing" as to what came first.

So if ET's made us and put us here, which I feel is entirely plausible, then where did they come from and who made them? You see we keep going back to the chicken or egg thing. I am not saying not to search for the truth. It just seems out of my grasp at the present. If you are looking at it from a scientific point of view, however, I understand important it is to explore all possibilities.

One day I was walking my dog and it just hit me that we human beings stick out like a sore thumb on this planet, like we really do not belong here. We are so out of synch with the rest of nature it's not funny. Our emotional problems are vast and appear to be worsening. The rest of nature appears to be in a sacred balance except that we humans have been f**king it up along with ourselves for centuries. Indigenous peoples seemed to live w/in the bounds of nature, however, it would appear that mostly the Anglophile world did not like that and hence they eradicated most of them.

The only spiritual solution I can come to for myself is to go within and find the truth, not of where we came from or who made us because I think that is out of my grasp at the present, but merely that I trust in this process. For myself I need to seek the truth, try and do the right thing and have faith in the process and believe that there is a higher purpose for my existence here on planet earth and this I do believe.

Thanks for all your efforts.

Just so you know, this will be my 7th time posting this.

This thread is about disproving primate evolution.

Humans via Evolution...I can disprove. I also have
evidence on how what is truly the case.

If they are real, and if they did in fact develop
life and/or humans on Earth, then who are they?
And who created them? This leads to an endless
hall of mirrors echoing the same impossible-to answer
question: Who are their creators???

This brings up what is known as First Cause,
the starting place for all of everything—of life
and existence itself. No human actually knows
anything about it, and we probably never will.
I don’t know, religion doesn’t, and scientists
certainly don’t. Yet those institutions are forced
by their intense rivalry for hearts and minds to
pretend that they actually do know the answer.
Don’t believe either side. Religion and science
stand eyeball-to-eyeball and are too frightened
to blink, much less acknowledge any doubts or
weaknesses in their propaganda. But, luckily, I
don’t have those restrictions. I can busy myself
trying to discover what is actually knowable.
If I told you everything I am about to say is a lie. Is it truth or a lie?

Re: Calling all Iconoclasts... Enter. The Truth of Our Origins.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.

14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Re: Calling all Iconoclasts... Enter. The Truth of Our Origins.
I agree on some points of the OP.
However : (and puhuleeease, leave religeon out of the discussion, because that is one of the points I agree with the OP : this has nothing to do with religeon, but all with science and facts)...

Well, here's my question, if life (basic life) cannot start to exist out of the blue and if there's always an external intervention necessary, where is the one who intervenes coming from??

I do seriously consider in believing external intervention when it comes to the "human" race at some point in history : meaning at a certain point in history there was nothing which can be called "culture" or "knowledge". We were not that much different from primates.
However, at a given moment, primates became smarter and (just to make a long story short and not to complicate things) started to develop unseen capabilities on this planet (from which the most important the capability to change the environment such way to fit the needs, instead of moving elsewhere to an environment which fits the needs already, as basically, this is what being human is all about : control).
But the theory I believe in, also states that the potential was already here (meaning : life was here and it just started to exist, and finally a couple of tens of thousands years ago, a species evolved which had the correct "specification" in order to become what we are now (meaning : body structure, volume of the skull, specific kind of tongue, hands with a thumb, possibility to walk on 2 legs instead of 4 etc... etc...) And then, due to intervention (aliens, timetravellers, whatever), evolution leaped forward, probably due to DNA engineering (which is perfectly possible when those intervening had a knowledge of DNA which is about 3 or 4 decades more advanced than our current knowledge).

So : intervention : yes. But for me this does not exclude the possibility that life itself can start to exist out of the blue if the right conditions are there. I think that somewhere in the Universe, there are a couple of very, very ancient races which had to evolve during thousands of milennia. And maybe, they just give a push to intelligent life on places in the universe where they think it might work and evolve into more intelligent life later on.

OP,

I'm not attempting to be nasty when I say this:

You've been deceived.
You are a victim of deception.

I know you've heard it before.
And that you've dismissed it.

But it is true.

I hope you make your way out of the muck that has pulled you down.

One method is to refuse to accept anything as it is presented.
Question and test all things.

And I mean all.

Keep asking questions. Track everything to its source.

Don't settle for pat answers that appear logical to your present state of mind.

This can be done.

And for you it must be done.

If you question everything with ultimate and ruthless diligence, including things you don't presently, "believe in," as well as those you presently do, you will arrive at a Conclusion.

Hopefully, for your sake, you are up to the task.

That is the statement of the truly self-deceived.

You worship yourself as the master of parsing reality.

You basically think of yourself, intellectually speaking, as a God. You believe if you are clever enough, you will not die.

It is the oldest deception of all.

Like others have pointed out, you give no account for the initial cause of Life, and the creation of the universe.

Re: Calling all Iconoclasts... Enter. The Truth of Our Origins.

My life consists of. Unconditional Love. Work. and Questions. To the best of my ability.

Your entire post sums up why I actually posted the OP.

I've thrown you a rope.
I suggest you take it.

I offer the rope to the more deserving.

Christ is truly my hero. I live to serve, and right
now that is to topple the dogma of Primate Evolution.
If I told you everything I am about to say is a lie. Is it truth or a lie?
