Why does this surprise you?
We will never see a cure for
1) Cancer
2) AIDS
3) Diabetes
Why you ask? It is because there is far too much money to be made by the medical industry in 'treating' these diseases.
While there is still profit to be made, it would be too detrimental to shareholder value to cure these things.
