That's a lot of maple syrup. Is it going to push up the price here? Can't go without the real thing. Quoting: Madame X LOL... and the real thing today, is watered down by comparison to the maple syrop we got 30 and 40 years ago.. boiled down over an open fire, so the syrop had a nice smokey flavour to it...that sadly is missing now.. and it was boiled down far more, that it is today. Oh, for a trip into the sugar bush to make maple syrop candy and get a really great tasting syrop. I may have to put that on my bucket list of things to do again.
