Anonymous Coward User ID: 3199789 Canada 09/08/2012 04:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | well an embassy closing will save some money. I don't know why we have embassies all over the place. I wish the hell Canada would stay out of international issues. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12582603 because we have Canadians and their families living all over the place. I have some iranian-Canadian friends, really nice people, we're not that close these days so it seems rude to ask them, but they probably feel pretty shitty and alienated by what's going on right now. They're Canadian but they have family in Iran. It probably feel similar to a kid going through his/her parents divorcing. Parts of your identity anlre splitting and feuding with one another. You don't know which side to choose because you don't want to choose sides and love both. But these are not quite like loving parents...one or both countries might turn on you and see you as a traitor at any moment. Are your Canadian friends going to start avoiding you? Is your Iranian family glung to distance themselves? .... My friends have kids, what if grandma stops returning calls or nobody wants to play with then on the playground in Canada? So to have the embassy close now... Yes I gotta think that's pretty crappy for them. |

[link to www.cbc.ca] Ya what ever!!! They could include the canadian flag in the weekly flag burning. Then, their song "death to america, death to Israel" could be upgraded with "death to canada", but in that case they have to check back with the musicians. |
