But in the only major study of pregnant rape victims ever done prior to this book, Dr. Sandra Mahkorn found that 75 to 85 percent did not have abortions. This figure is remarkably similar to the 73 percent birth rate found in our sample of 164 pregnant rape victims. This one finding alone should cause people to pause and reflect on the presumption that abortion is wanted or even best for sexual assault victims.1

NO CHILD should be forced to carry her father/uncle/cousin/brother/guy next door/strangers baby....it is bad enough that they were raped and their innocence stolen, emotionally killed to the soul level...but then having to make an adult choice about it...and have adults treat them like they are whores...no matter what they choose... and don't tell me every girl should then be on birth control to prevent it...birth control comes with many hidden risk--blood clots, heart attacks etc.... The real solution is to lock up for life or fry these inhuman things (people that rape, molest and abuse children), quit trying to rehabilitate them and quit putting them back out on the streets for them to continue their assault on innocent children...if this were done, we would see a decrease in victims quick and less abortions and child pregnancies and dead children period! As for the ones that do it to adults--same punishment!! Watch how fast it slows down..when they are eliminated from the human populace! This goes for those soulless beings that do human trafficing! Pregnancy is the least of the worries after rape. Aids and VD are the biggest concerns. As for abortion in these very tough cases, the rapist should be put to death, not the innocent baby conceived by the criminal act. Praise God from Whom all Blessings flow !!!
