The imagery in this quote brought Metatron's cube and the Sri Yantra to mind for me. The latter being an 'in-motion' depiction so to say - at least that's always been my abstract interpretation of it.

I don't think even McKenna grasped what the machines were that he saw the elves working. I don't think, either, that very many people realize the elves themselves to be a personification construct of precisely what this topic is about.
