As has been said, this isn't doom, not in the wider sense, anyway. I'd put money on a disgruntled ex employee or an angry customer. He wont really have a bomb, he's just saying that and he'll either give him self up or shoot himself in the head.

As someone who is literally a block away and talking to cops that buy pizza at my shop, he's allegedly a recently returned soldier, he's African American, he may or may not have a bomb or multiple explosive devices, and he does have a gun. Cops are chatty about this one.

Having a gun is pretty likely for sure. The explosives thing I'm more skeptical on. They always say it, and 9 times out of 10 they are lying or it turns out to gas canisters or something that wouldn't be easy to detonate.
