I read somewhere that FB agreed to really delete your photos (not keeping them stored in their database -don't know if it's 100% true though), but I used the ocassion to do that and delete my account as well. Maybe that's just another illusion, becausr they keep your profile on the database right? Well I least I didn't share personal info, perhaps the damage is done but I took charge of it. I used it mostly to communicate with my family abroad, but I found other means. FB is the most annoying and intrusive thing I've ever seen! Now I feel better, I didn't need that shit at all.. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22323216 Pretty sure your account is stored. I know a few people that come and go from facebook all.the.time. Perhaps you could delete/change all the info on your account before "deleting" it then at least your stuff wouldn't be out there? Datalogix's site doesn't list its partners, but from a Google search, it looks like the company has worked with CVS's ExtraCare card program. Facebook said its anonymizing each profile but do believe it? true... the ads I get, are all tailored to things I have searched for in the past on google, amazon and other sites... it's kind of funny... search for something, then watch how the ads are all tailored to what you searched for... so most likely if you got certain drugs at a pharmacy, they are correlatinjg purchases with online habits. true |
