Something that we can take from the natural world is that irrational numbers (pi, phi, e), play an important role in the structure, and, by definition, irrational numbers cannot be precisely calculated. Taken together, the two items above indicate to me that predictions with precise dates and times are probably not possible. So, Nuthole, from whence did you get such precision? |

IMHO, limits yield precision. But you’re imposing limits on me by anticipating my response/reaction. Will you show some respect for the free will of your fellow humans? |

SPak User ID: 60950 United States 01/14/2006 05:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | IrishJim, I am impressed with your response: "But you’re imposing limits on me by anticipating my response/reaction. Will you show some respect for the free will of your fellow humans?" I don't mean to go off topic but I have a question. If I put someone in a situation in which they have to make a decision and there decision causes problems for others, was it their freewill decision that caused this or my fault for creating the situation for them? I can come up with an example if needed. thanks, SPak |

User ID: 51203 United States 01/14/2006 05:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Interesting question, Spak. And I don’t want to deviate from the thread topic, either, but it seems Nuthole has accomplished his purpose and abandoned us to ourselves. Anyway, you said, “If I put someone in a situation…” I think that’s the part of your question that needs explanation/example. We all bump and grind with and against each other on this planet all the time. It may be unintentional and coincidental. IMHO, you’re not responsible for another’s decisions in those instances. However, if you intentionally manipulate another into some situation, then I think you are playing out some drama that you both determined to participate in, possibly before your births. Ultimately, I think you’re both/all helping each other to learn something from it. EDIT: Sorry, Nuthole, thought you were done. |

SPak User ID: 60950 United States 01/14/2006 05:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | IJ, Awesome answer, I think it was an incident that neither of us expected to be in and each person reacted very differently than what was anticipated. I also believe it was meant to happen and I know I learned from it (as well as 2 other parties), if the last party did, that I don't know. Shalom, Steve |
