Another weird Batman/Holmes connection

Was reading goincrazy's "Hoodwinking" thread Thread: How Obama is Hoodwinking All Of Us and came across a post about Obama being like Al Ghul character in Batman and had a flash of memory about Comet Holmes...here's the post (slightly modified):

Wow...my brain just made a weird connection...probably doesn't belong on this thread...but this post did it.

Al Ghul is the Arabic name for the star Algol, which is part of the Constellation of Perseus, more specifically part of the head of Medusa in that constellation.

Comet Holmes (?) passed by (or over from our vantage point) Algol nearly one year to the day before Obama's inauguration. Actually since Obummer had to retake the oath, it WAS one year to the day.


Al Ghul is Arabic for "The Demon".


Algol is called the Winking Demon Star because of its light variation.
