Sorry Dumbass, but Silver's statistical model actually includes and weighs the ABC daily poll very heavily in comparison to other polls. Seems like despite this anomaly of a day in the ABC poll--yesterday they had Obama up by 2 points--he still has Obama up and is giving him a 71% chance of winning this thing. Plus, big O is ahead in all the places that count--Ohio, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Iowa.

I'm watching The Ed Show on MSNBC which is a very liberal show. Ed is dicing up the numbers in such a way that makes Obama look like he might win. Some polls he shows the popular vote while others he shows the electoral college votes. What a joke.

Today's NBC/Marist poll has Big O up by 3 in Nevada as well.

The average of the major polls has Romney up by .9%. I'm not sure what part of the poll you are looking at but there are six major polls listed that have Romney in the lead while only three have Obama leading.

I think your best bets for close races are going to be in Colorado and Virginia. I honestly think that Nevada is in the bag for O. Obama's GOTV efforts are also much more robust. We'll see. This has become a barn burner.

This election is taking place in the entire country, not just in Nevada. Fuck Nevada.

This will be an easy victory for Romney. Expect a landslide.

Democrats have been stealing elections for well over a hundred years.

No one steals elections in the US. This is not a third world country. People in the US vote for idiots because the MSM brainwashes them into doing so. Don't like who wins for President? Replace the media.

Keep your delusional world going. The only reason Romney is up in the popular vote is 98% of Texans are voting Romney/Ryan. We still use the Electoral College votes to decide who wins so don't cry too much when Romney looses.

I think the dem strategy of over-weighing the votes is going to bite them in the ass. As we get closer to election day the pollsters are going to have to slowly start weighing in a more realistic manner if they want to keep any illusion of accuracy going. So if Romney starts losing his momentum they will be a strong wind on his back pushing him onto victory. Them liberals sho is smart!

So right up until the middle of October they were predicting that Carter would be re-elected ...then just before the election, in a belated attempt to protect their credibility, they started using less unrealistic turnout numbers

This changed the prediction from "Carter Wins" to "Too Close to Call"

Well the election happens and "Too Close to Call" turned out to be


Reagan 51%
Carter 41%


Now the Press tried to claim that it was "A Bad Debate Performance" and a "Crisis in the Middle East" that caused this

( Now it really sounds familiar )


But the reality is , people will ignore a poor debate performance by a popular President , and a popular President can actually improve his poll numbers during a crisis.



Over the next week you'll see Obama's numbers drop even more

Because while they have lowered the Dem turnout to +6, most polling indicates thats its going to be more like Dem +2 on election day

( In other words the press is still giving Obama up to 4 more points than he'll actually get)


So be prepared for
Obama getting 43%-47% of the vote and Romney getting 47-51%

The TV station "polls" and the "polls" they choose to cover at first reflect their hopes and dreams.

As the election approaches, they need to do two things:

1) Increase their credibility by moving the "polls" close to expected reality, so they are not embarrassed on election day.

2) Show a tightening race or one with momentum, to boost TV ratings.
