I highly doubt 57% of the independants are going to vote for Romney. Good try Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21102572 You might be right... I think it will be like 60%-63%... I don't know. About 75% of the independents I've talked to are voting for Obama. |

I'm glad the great ruin of the USA will be under his watch. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14564403 Romney is gonna have his hands full, with what he is being handed, and with the storm looming on the horizon. But, his management skills Far, FAR surpass Obama's non-existent ones. Community agitating is not going to get us through this! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 22104388 United States 10/26/2012 02:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | People are missing the point. Romney may not be the greatest candidate and may not be appealing to most, however the real issue here is that people aren't casting a vote for Romney in as much as they are casting a vote AGAINST Obama. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25313616 That right there is why Romney will win. Call it the Sarah Palin effect You're totally ignoring the other side of this. How many of the Obama "supporters" are really just Romney haters? The Mormon thing is HUGE. They have publicly stated they want to take over the world. Now they want to have one in the white house. That is unacceptable to enough people to give Obama the win. The thing is, Obama is just as hated as Romney, so it's gonna be a close call. Instead of a winner tho, in reality the "winner" will be the guy who is hated by slightly fewer registered voters then the other nearly equally hated man. |

Quoting: PravdaDemocrat All the polls showing Romney up 50-47 are based on D+4-6 models. Even Rasmussen is using a +6D model. No wonder Chuckie Schumer and Harry Reid have had such long faces of late, about if they will hold the Senate. This looks more like 2010, than like 2008. They have the REAL numbers, the internal polling that doesn't get released for Media headlines. Democrat: 2004: 37% - 2008: 39% - 2012: 35% Independent: 2004: 24% - 2008: 31% - 2012: 29% Republican: 2004: 39% - 2008: 31% - 2012: 36% Democrat/Lean Democrat: 2004: 48% - 2008: 54% - 2012: 46% Republican/Lean Republican: 2004: 48% - 2008: 42% - 2012: 49% Assume that Obama gets 95% of the Democrats, and 42% of the Independents, and that Romney gets 95% of the Republicans and 57% of the Independents. Who wins? the way to save this Country is to put every single person, in the government, out that we can, and put in a brand, spanking new one, EVERY CHANCE we get to vote, and to KEEP DOING IT for years to come, until the system is flushed clean. Thatis what God did, once he got the losers out into the desert with Moses. It took 40 years, so make sure everyone starts voting, as maybe we can do it in 20 years or less, because we donot have to wait for them to breed. |

I don't know that Romney will allow that to happen, but Obama is working hard towards it. So although I do love my country, my husband's paycheck, and what few freedoms we have left... it may be that evil bammy will steal the election, because it's all got to come to an end.....soon. |

User ID: 20006444 United States 10/26/2012 02:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Gallup did a study last election wherein they had a large group (some 10,000 voters) scattered across the nation) who agreed to disclose their "actual" vote and allow that to be compared to their "poll responses" over the months leading up to the elections. The results were astounding! Some 73% of the people who agreed to this "final disclosure of vote" were found to have changed their mind. Conservatives voted for liberals, Democrats voted for Republican candidates, and some even wrote in their own names in protest and voted for themselves! The results proved that Gallup and the other large pollsters may be "off" by as much as 73% of the people contacted and polled. Also, know that some of these "groups" polled are paid a stipend of 10 or 20 or even 50 dollars per contact during the polling season. And while there is a claim of "no bias" on the part of the interviewer, the truth is that the polled subjects pick up or perceive a preference for one candidate over the other and often the subjects polled will respond with what they think the poll taker wants to hear, vs the truth. After all, they're being paid $50 to say the "right" thing, aren't they? (At least that's the way many of these "average Americans" see it... sadly. Bottom line is the polls are about 40% accurate and mostly inaccurate. Sometimes grossly so. The companies that conduct these "polls" make a fortune selling their content and results to both political campaigns all across the nation from the smallest mayoral races to the Presidential candidates. They all buy into the validity of these surveys and samplings and you still never know what's going to happen until the voter is in that booth and faced with voting in the here and now! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 26349540 United States 10/26/2012 03:16 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Romney will not win, but if he does... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20676524 The same people on here pushing Romney are going to bhe the loudest that cryout when Romney takes us to war with Iran. Just watch. Oh good Lord, you craven loser, are you people not ever tired of your own lies, logical fallacies and hyper-partisan screeching? Guess what? The War with Iran will happen ANYWAY! In fact, it's already been covertly going on, and it will likely go hot if Twelver Psychos in Teheran don't cease & desist on their nuclear ambitions. Which they won't -- not until their own young people that hate them over-throw them. Which is unlikely because Mullahs have IRGC & Basij militias numbering in 5-10 million that would readily slaughter their own people if given orders --- would make Bashar al-Assad's blood-letting going on in Syria look like a walk in the park, in comparison. Key difference: -with Obama and his politically-correct careerist hack Generals, war with Iran will NOT be won. -with Romney, war with Iran willl still be painful, but it actually has a chance to be WON (without putting boots on the ground, of course). Liberal fools, they so silly. |
