Higher income taxes on the wealthy is historically associated with greater economic prosperity. The graphs in the article bear this out. Trickle down has never been shown to work. George W. Bush's upper income tax cuts didn't help the economy. Remember the crash of 2007-2008? Quoting: Instant Karma The economy crashed because spending was through the roof. We have the same Bush cuts now except top rate is 39.6%. |
