Here in Ohio it's about that time. Deer jerky is good stuff. Dear steaks are not bad and ground deer is just as yummy imo.

But it cost to butcher and if your a newbie you will make the meat taste aweful with improper procedures or even lack of all the procedures. Hunting is one thing, knowing what to do with the kill is another these days.
