I can understand the conflict that you might have with a doctor who might not fully understand the male physiology but there is a shortage of male doctors.

I don't really respect these kinds of office doctors because they tow the official medical line of thought or aren't bothered to explore alternative options/causes.

I can't even find a doctor- I'm praying I have at least another 20 years without anything going wrong because of the extremely poor medical standards in this country, but you can find equally poor standards in the United States, especially for those in the low tier economic class.

If you come at the people in the doctor's office the same way you post on GLP, I would be willing to bet your preference for a male doctor has very little to do with why they have rejected you. They are probably just tired of dealing with you. I bet you find something to complain about every time you go there.

As you say, there are tons of doctors out there. Why don't you do yourself and the doctor's office a favor, and pick a new one?

I like to take my kids to a pediatrician..you know, a doc that specializes in children.

My doctor is not a pediatrician and he's usually booked full, it's hard for me to get into see him at times.

My son had a doctor that we both liked but he moved his practice. I wasn't able to get a recommendation before he left so I asked my son's teacher if she knew a good place to take him and I started visiting the office I've been blacklisted from.

My kids don't visit the doctor often. I try to take care of them at home if they have a cold or flu..anything that seems minor.

After DEC 21,2012 you won't have to worry about this issue anymore.....

Yes, I argue about politicians and religion with the people at his doctors office because it's just like GLP there. I call them several times a week just to debate/argue and name call. I do that with everyone that treats me and my children because I like pissing off the people that can fuck with our health & well being.

I politely asked to have him scheduled to see a male doctor. I told her that my son didn't take to the last two female doctors he had. It was that simple.

I make sure that all my male doctors are atleast 6ft tall and have good bone structure. My doctors must look good. They must also have soft hands and skin.

I was very polite. I always am when I call my doctor.

No, I had my sister call and get an appt with a male doc the second I got off the phone, then I had my mom call and get an appt as well. Funny they couldn't schedule me in with a male doc but they could two other people in a matter of minutes.

The receptionist got pissy with me. I didn't just assume, as I said, that they were messing with me. She made it clear she wasn't at all happy at my request.
