Hi Grey - it's pretty cold cuz of the wind chill but only low 20's. It really only hit me today - that winter is here. And it's dark at 5:30! UGH! I'm way more of a homebody in the winter.

I'm in the mts about 3-4 hrs SW of you.

No snow here now .. but it hit a chilling 10F a week ago where i was staying at a friend's house. Lots of battles going on there between elk and the coyotes and mt lions..

Fall colors (aspen, mostly) peaked about 3-4 wks ago.

Any ski hills nr you open yet?

No slopes aren't open yet. Thanksgiving.

Not camping now. Sleeping indoors in Zonieland, 1/2 - 1 hr from NM..

Just wondering why it hasn't snowed yet, although I did see some a week ago up at 10,000' for a few hours, until it melted..
