The recipe calls for sausage of both the mild and sweet to the hot and spicy. I have always loved to cook but since the covid I have been watching a lot of the food network channel and have developed a bit of a crush on Bobby Flay! I laughed out loud to a funny blurb I saw somewhere that said after this covid quarantine is over does my 600lb life find me or do I seek them out?? LOL! Truth be told I did go up one full pants size and I am still exercising daily...some days more than others but still daily I do! My husband has waffled with hating his job for over a year now, I said to him tonight, it's a rolling boil and then it settles...I don't know what to do about his feelings...they are his and his to change. If he hates his job then he should make the moves to change it. I think he thought I was a cold bitch to say that...I don't get it. Does he want me to find a new job for him??? It's not for me to do.... I work too, have for over 30 years at the same place, there have been good times and bad times but overall I like my job. If I hated my job I would look to change it. Anyway, as usual I overshare! We were breaking the quotes InTune4529 <3. It took me a minute to sort it out as I had to delete smileys on my last post lol. I have never heard of Bobby Flay & would guess he is a famous tv chef. I like you do enjoy cooking but over the years i have got a bit lazy & usually fry most of the time. :chuckle; I have lost weight over the lock down but I don't train. I would walk a fair bit though. That is some length of time to work in the same place & like you say its a job you enjoy doing & going to. I for one have enjoyed your overshare as you put it immensely tonight. Yes, about the quotes, I couldn't even post a response to you without deleting a bunch of stuff, it said something about too many smilies for one post...how can that be? Bobby Flay is a very famous US chef, but he's Irish! He's the bomb and I love him.... I have been forever working at my job, I am a payroll accountant. I was a young girl when I started and now I am old....I have been doing my job forever and a day but I enjoy it. Before the covid I worked from home four out of five days a week, going to my corporate office one day a week. Since covid I am working from home since the first week of March....I am for real suffering from cabin fever. My husband is the most wonderful man I have ever known, he is stressed out and I think I reacted poorly to his stress this evening because I had a very stressful day as well...I am sorry that he is stressed out but his stress is an ongoing boil as I said before...it ebbs and flows...but he doesn't make a move to change it...so I also wonder why he doesn't make a change....it's not for me to do. He does HVAC and has been working through the covid taking safety precautions. He is over-worked and very stressed out...I am generally a wonderfully supportive spouse but I guess I failed this evening. I don't know what to do about his unhappiness, I can't fix it....he needs to fix it..right? A major re-poster of this song! I'm Northern Irish & I played a short clip of Bobby Flay & although he is Irish American he does speak with an Irish accent. I will have to search more of his videos out. nice one. If you are feeling a bit worse for wear in the morning will you be able to lay on a little bit longer as you are now working from home. I know you are at a busy time of the month for what you do though. I hear you as well with the cabin fever, my days have been dragging in this past while too. Hopefully you & Mr Intune4529 <3 can maybe get a day off & just talk things through with each other as well. Running towards the weekend. |

Her mother (full Irish) came to the US and met an American man, they had 4 kids but he was a jerk and he's dead now.(don't mean to sound cold but it's true). I have been best friends with her since 12 years old and we're 53 now. Old farts even. Her mom is back in Ireland now but she visits frequently. She was here in January just before all the nasty covid hit. Bobby Flay can cook and he's cute too! He's Irish American. and really cute! I think I will feel crappy in the morning, I do drink a good nice Lavazza coffee...I have two every morning...it may take three to get me going tomorrow...I am still going to suffer and yet I am still willing to go there! Cabin fever sucks! I do get out to do groceries and what nots. I wear a mask...this might be verboten per this website that doesn't believe the virus is actually real. I believe it's real though and we are required to wear a mask now in Virginia. I feel like I am channeling my grandma....I talk too much! Last Edited by InTune4529 on 06/03/2020 01:02 AM |

As long as you are having a good night InTune4529 <3 & three coffee's should hopefully get you up & running again in the morning. Your the same age group as me & a good few of the posters on here are of a similar age as well. I do get you about the cabin fever being rough on folk especially those of us used to going out at the weekend or even just socializing with work colleagues & missing out on that daily interaction. Its nice to know that there is a lot of connections with Irish & Americans through family ties & I'm sure that's true as well for other parts of the UK too. Running towards the weekend. |

Thank you for listening to me tonight, it's nice to talk to someone who's listening! In the US we're all a big melting pot. My heritage is Scottish on my dad's side and French and English on my mom's side. Sadly, they've both passed away but they live on in myself and my four brothers. I think it's finally time to get to bed. I really enjoyed speaking with you but for sure tomorrow is heading my way. I will go up those stairs and find some food and bed. Take care Fraust! And all you other music lovers too!! May we always find our solace in the music!! Last Edited by InTune4529 on 06/03/2020 01:32 AM |
