BUT--is this the version of of Eat a Peach? I think it is. Funny cause there is a slightly shorter version a one of the greatest hits albums. This is my husband's favorite Allman Bros song. Makes me think of happy times. |

User ID: 78212475 United States 07/14/2020 03:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Maybe MY favorite. Night driving, just rollin down the road with the sound at 28 on the CD player in my now OLD car--2006 Chrysler Pacifica. Went to that from a '93 ford Taurus STATION WAGON missing a hub cap and it took 3 keys to get in and drive it. Oh yeah, a broken cassette player too. Dealer kept saying "Oh you already know this and that" and I kept saying '93, '93. Didn't even know how to turn on the heat. Had sticky notes in the owner's manuel. ALL I wanted was that CD player!!! |

Oh me TOO. Got a few at 11 minutes I would like to play but...The shortest songs ever are all Beatle tunes. Radio stations wanted 'em short. Do you remember when "I'm so glad was supposedly the longest song--Cream or Traffic or both? |

User ID: 78212475 United States 07/14/2020 03:37 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The unofficial theme song of my high school class of 1973. First played on 8 tracks back then. Cover bands played it at a roadhouse bar we all drank at, Scotty's 351 club--highway 351. Any girls under 21 were ALWAYS welcome. Bands would play this and the girls would literally scream and run out on the dance floor. Being the rebel and class hippie, I therefore hated it at the time. Oh I was so COOL, hahaha |

User ID: 78212475 United States 07/14/2020 03:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I just counted--I have ten CD's of Traffic, Cream, Derick and the Dominoes, Eric Clapton, Stevie Winwood, and Blind Faith. Some are double CD's, more than any other band. They are all connected so I had to have them all. Do what you like by blind faith is 15.20 min but only 9.12 on Cream Gold. I have more but they are all out of order. Get high after lunch and listen to Sea of Joy and floated to our 1 o'clock classes in college freshman year. I could use good old fashioned joint RIGHT NOW, lol. |

I lived in a small triangle of this state-Ottawa the first 18 years, then stayed in Champaign-Urbana for 16 years, and have been in Springfield (no man's land) since 1989. Ottawa will always be home---12 miles from Starved Rock State Park with it's 18 canyons and waterfalls. No pioneer blood in me at all. Pirate blood but no pioneer. And you if you want to say... Got 2 cracked fingertips--they hurt like hell. |

User ID: 78212475 United States 07/14/2020 04:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "And you if you want to say..."?? Fraust is gonna say I broke the JB and GLP quoting like this. Thought you might have missed it. Dorms were hell. On a floor with 60 girls, 2 drinking fountains, 2 toilet stalls and FOUR urinals. Used to be a boys floor. U of I didn't care about the students--it was just shut up and deal with it. 2 toilets for 60?? Room next to ours played 1 song and 1 song only--Frampton--all day and night. We were required to blast em out. Boys floor below--MASSIVE speakers playing Bachman Turner Overdrive at ear damaging levels. You went in a room, got high, and nobody could say a word over the volume. Wee bit awkward. And we had better music and plenty of pot too. |
