Ian still has a great voice. Seeing Jethro Tull on tour for Aqualung in 1971 was one of the best concerts I was so damn lucky to ever see and hear. Chicago. I was 16. I've said it before in the JB and I'll say it again: when he stopped playing the flute to sing, it was physically painful. That flute, that flute--MY GOD.
