I been going down memory lane while doing chores around the house. I was just remembering around 17 when my uncle passed and my dealer hooked me up with an ounce instead of the dimebag I paid for because he felt sorry for me. (Mostly shake and seeds but still) My uncle was very important to me and we spent a lot of time at my grandparents backyard, so I set up a tent and lived back there getting really high for a couple weeks and listening to his CDs trying to understand why and remembering him. The one in his stereo when we found him was Enema of the State from Blink 182 and I listened that one the most Sorry if TMI :crying: some things never stop hurting, do they? I mean you learn how to get along, but it's always there just under the surface fresh as ever. |

Blink 182 has an even earlier memory than that for me though...Summer camp Big Bear Lake, I'm 15yo, fresh outta rehab, and back with my friends Josh and Chris who I only got to see a couple weeks out of the year when there... During our free time one day Chris taught me how to play this on the bass while he did guitar/sang and Josh played drums. I CHERISH the memories I form that are associated with music. I mean look where we are! |
