Remember this one from the 1983 Bears season, when WBBM (Ch 2) used it in their highlight reel at that season's end..

Featuring Willie Gault's receptions and Payton's TDs..

Who could forget THAT..

That happened 2 yrs later, after I had moved out to California and had missed the mass-hoopla back in Chi-Town in '85.

Yeah, I was ahuge Bears fan back then and watched alot of their games on TV from CA that season. They only lost to the Dolphins in Miami that year and went 15-1. And then beat the Giants and the Rams in the playoffs, allowing zero TDs.

Trouncing the Pats in the Super Bowl by 46-10, which was a rout. Ditka put the 2nd & 3rd stringers in (4th Q) for that Super Bowl, it was so lopsided.

Walter finally got his SB Ring..

And McMahon was a celeb.

That 1985 Defense, was maybe the best I have ever seen. Buddy Ryan had the 46 defense which put insane pressure on the opposing QBs that yr, and in '84 also.

I still occasionally watch those old games from 1985 on Youtube - for nostalgia purposes.

Life was so good back then...

Probably my favorite Doors concert; although the 1968 Hollywood Bowl was also a kewl one to watch..

The Doors were all business at the Isle Fest in 1970 ... and they played well after midnight that gig.

Chicago was (still is) always a big big sports town: Bears, Bulls, Cubs. Sox, Blackhawks, der Sting ..

Not that Green Bay and Denver (and/or Detroit) aren't, as well..
