I always pack light, especially toiletries. But my kids..gah! One has something like 3 cosmetic bags alone. The other one..she flew for the first time last winter to visit my parents. As she's waiting to go through security at the airport, I ask her 'Do you have anything in your pockets?' She pulls out 3 different kinds of knives..a Swiss Army, a switchblade, and just a regular pocketknife. What the heck? I'm like you always carry those? She said 'I only brought the ones I thought I'd need'.
