yep it is around the news now.. people are stupid, they see politicians make a joke about this and they believe that they are truly concern.

I've also noticed subtle hints of doom being dropped here and there in the MSM.

...some places where you would never think to hear such things.

They must being trying to soften the emotional blow for the sheeple I guess.

Staying inside also. God knows what people are going to do. I'm kind of concerned about people going psycho!

I probably would have never made a thread about this but, right before I left GLP earlier, I noticed the headlines about Syria, doom planets, quakes....

And I figured I'd just go take a look around the outside world of GLP for news. I'm just not sure where to start about the story. On one hand, it is a global thought of doom and gloom which I swear that Art Bell a long time ago tried out an experiment over the radio...

Art Bell had all his listeners focus their thoughts on something ( can't remember exactly what ) and within just a few minutes, the event happened. I listened that night.

Now I go out and find a story like this, and I think it is like a global mind projection of sorts...

I think I'll join the ranks of just staying low profile during the event, camera ready, BOB ready, etc.... But I'm not going out, these people are going to manifest something crazy.

And so it begins...

You know, that's a reasonable and sound assessment. When you think about it, it's an almost self-fulfilling prophecy for some.

The real doom is all this chest thumping in the Middle East. We've got Russians, Germans, Turks, Chinese, the USA, and a dozen different Islamic factions all poking each other and waiting for someone else to kick it off.

Sooner of later, someone is just going to say 'FUCK IT!' And there will be.

There are a ton of unemployed stressed out people two paychecks from being homeless. If they're also worried about perceived doom around the corner, and they realize they haven't prepared, then it won't take much to set them off.

Those kinds of folks most worry me as the initial Horde phenomena discussed in prepper circles. Wild people get incited into a frenzy with minimal effort. If any strange phenomena are witnessed, then they'll see it as a sign of doom and destruction.

I expect a lot of this to happen over the next month. People could easily lose it at home and lash out at ordinarily loved family members.

If people are prepared with some basic necessities, then they have a cushion to rely upon, even if it is miniscule.

If you see one of your friends ramping up like that, helps them to calm down. Telling someone to "Calm down." is like throwing gas on a fire. Sitting in front of a warm fire and drinking an adult beverage and letting them release some of that tension and vent will help them. The expulsion of that fear tend to remove much of their bottled up emotions.
