I don't understand why the word "feral" is used. I'm used to seeing that word applied to stray cats and dogs that live by scrounging whatever is available.

Maybe the word is correct in this case, but you have to wonder if the merchandise was worth a human life.

No lie about a month ago i was driving down a one way street and a 'gaggle' of black girls were driving in front of me. They stopped their car to pick a friend up IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC...

Frustrated with 2 people behind me i incessantly beeped until one of them popped their head out saying "Oh no white boy you gonna wait". Well, not too pleased with that option I pulled onto the sidewalk to get around them...not before throwing my 2 day old smoothie on their windshield..


Justice at any cost, never felt that good in my entire life.

She made the mistake of messing with the wrong security gaurd.


Too bad he didn't get off two more rounds.

This country needs a little more justice like that.

They look pretty feral in those mugshots.

A better statement, irregardless, is if SHE thought the merchandise was worth HER own life. Apparently it was... to HER.

Perhaps the line has finally been drawn what defines human.

The merchandise isn't the issue. All consumers pay more because of those who steal. A decent civil society has rules. Stealing is a slap in the face to every citizen who plays by the rules and leads a decent life in that community. It's a way of saying I don't care about your rules of conduct and I can act in an uncivil and disrespctful manner. Being a bad citizen still has consequences and the thief found that out the hard way. the whole country is taking a bad trend of lawlesness and poor behavior. I think it's great when the message is sent that society has had enough and we want to reverse this trend.

A feral organism is one that has changed from being domesticated to being wild or untamed.

My questions, who is their owner? Why did he allow them to become feral?

I'm a business owner myself. I hate being stolen from. And believe me, IT HAPPENS. However, every businessman knows that if you can't catch someone in the act--at the precise moment that they are stealing--then it's useless to try to get your merchandise back yourself. You have to leave it for the on-duty cops. A security guard or store employee can NOT trap or imprison a person at the store until the fuzz arrives. You have to let them go and give their description/license plate to the cops.

I'm a jeweller. One stolen item can cost me thousands. I'm pretty good about preventing thefts but I've lost that battle too. That's where a digital camera comes in handy. Snap the thief's photo and paste it behind the counter. When the thief comes in again, I just tell them straight up "I can't do business with you". I show them the photo, quote them the details of the incident on the back of the photo and then I tell them to leave and not return.

I should mention, though, that I'm armed and dangerous. If someone thinks that they're going to stick a firearm in my face, they are in for a surprise. It's never happened to me yet but jewelry stores are targets, as we all know. It's pretty safe where I live. Most thieves are unarmed and unsophisticated. They are oppprtunists. It's my job to make sure there are no opportunities (harder than you think).

I found this offensive as my understanding at the time was 'refugees' were displaced by war....

was Katina an act of war?

were we being conditioned to accept the word 'refugee' used in the same sentence as 'americans'....
